Over 10 years now. I have utilized their services 3 times now for different injuries. The latest one Scott and Amanda are treating me for. I was in a serious car accident and had a Cervical Spine Neck Fusion Surgery. My fusion has not completed yet buy my muscles are a 4 alarm fire with atrophy. I requested Scott because of excellent care I received from him with my first visit to their Belle Chase location. I was so impressed back then for his knowledge in the latest technologies. My faith in him never wavered. I came in gave him my history and he listened. Never judged me or showed pitty for me (I hate that). He showed me acceptance and gave suggestions and comments making me able to trust in his abilities once again. I knew I made the right choice in asking for him to be my PT. He understood my situation. He never rushed me he took his time to explain things. He then advise me my surgical team based on the delicate nature of my current condition wanted him to perform a Dry Needling technique (Western more scientific version of Accupunture) I explained I am terrified of needles and I paused. I asked for his opinion separate from the suggestion of my surgical team (that I also completely trust). He backed up his statement with facts. He is so intelligent and comforting that when I ask a question I get a scientific answer. I looked at him and told him I trust him with my life. I am allowing him to perform a treatment if it was anyone other than Scott I would never allow. Amanda is amazing. She keeps track of my progress checks in on me to make sure I am ok. Always sets my bed up with the perfect elevation. The entire staff works as a team if one member gets delayed with a patient another team member will step in to help out. The whole staff is extrodinary. I wouldn't trust my care to any other facility. The wealth of knowledge and training Scott has is exceptional. I had a situation and called the facility in between appointments, I was assured Scott would reassess me at my next appointment. Without prompting he did just that. I was panicking because I was in pain and he just calmly stood there and listened. I asked him how he could be so calm? His reply "I know exactly what your feeling, and I know how to help you!" His words felt like I was being wrapped in a warm blanket. He walked me through the treatment he was about to perform. He was so gentle. He said I was delicate he had to be gentle. That was one of the most compassionate and understanding statements anyone has made to me since the accident. He made me feel safe. He walked me through what I was feeling after the treatment and my panic level went from 10 to 2 in minutes. He gave me immediate relief. Their program for me ends with me on a bed with a tens unit and my neck wrapped in a heated pad. It is like being treated at the spa 10 minutes of relaxation and comfort before I leave for the day. I miss going to treatment. I was driving home one day after treatment and I heard the some by Rachel Platten "Stand by you". For me the lyrics express what I perceive as Rehab Access staff moto. Words cannot express my gratitude for their care they have given me. For anyone who hasn't experienced this condition it is terrifying to be in need of assistance to conduct daily acitivities, be limited to zip or button up shirts, not be able to do the simplest things like brush your hair. This team gave me back the blessed gift of movement. Thank you will never be enough to express my gratitude for your staff especially Scott and Amanda.
